Yeah , i'm an NITian ........ n i'm proud to be so ....... no , not because of it's glamour that it enjoys just
after IITs , but the real cause is deeply rooted in the fact that my college like any other NIT is , as if , an epitome of
our country , a miniaturised India for the proper mingling n blending of culture , right from Jammu to kanyakumai at south
n stretched as well in the horizontal direction apart from the numerous oversees candidates ........ Still my college
NIT , Durgapur ( previously REC, DGP ) has been miles ahead from some of its counterparts in one aspect ........ since
it's establishment in 1960 , it has been producing great scholars ( the Engineers of 2morrow), not only in academic field
, but also in several cultural activities of our life .......... It promotes the slogan , rather inculcates the motto among
all the college students ........... Let's be complete human beings , more than engineers
who can shoulder the onus & responsibilities of Mother India quite efficiently .
